About ChimScout
ChimScout is a search engine for chimney pros. Type your city and you get the chimney sweeps and repair companies that serve it, laid out so you can compare them in one place instead of opening ten tabs.
What we do
We maintain a directory of chimney sweeps and repair companies across the United States. Today it covers 8132 chimney pros in 2899 cities across 49 states, and it grows as we add more.
How we build the listings
We compile candidate businesses from public business data, then read each company's website to pull out the things you actually compare on: which services they offer, whether they hold a CSIA or NFI certification, which inspection levels they run, and a starting price where one is published. We drop dead sites and listings we cannot stand behind. Each listing carries its Google rating and review count so you have a second signal next to the company's own claims.
What we are not
We are not a booking platform and we do not take payments or commissions, and we do not sell your details as a lead. We are not affiliated with the businesses listed. When you find a chimney pro you like, you contact them directly. Listing details come from public sources and may be out of date, so always confirm services and pricing with the company.
